This creature’s design was based on an amalgam of animals to be a riding beast that could also climb.  

 

Inspired by the Hyena, Jerboa, Duck, Horse, Kangaroo, Deer and Dr. Seuss.

 

Modeled In Maya, Detailed in Zbrush.

Sci-Fi Scene  Textures made in 3DS Max, Photoshop, and xNormal.

Assets Made in 3Ds Max, rendered in Unreal.  All surfaces textured with two 1024 pages.
